Podiatry Services at Time Wellness Centre
Foot care is our top priority, and we're dedicated to keeping your feet in prime condition with our comprehensive podiatry services.
From traditional podiatry to specialised treatments, we offer a range of disciplines to ensure your feet stay healthy and happy.
Here's how we do it:
Traditional Podiatry Our expert podiatrists delicately shape and refine your nails, employing specialised methods to eliminate dry, hardened skin, calluses, and corns. With precision and care, we smooth cracked heels, culminating in a luxurious moisturising treatment for supremely soft and rejuvenated feet.
Ingrowing Toenail Treatment We offer a range of solutions for ingrown toenail treatment, catering to your individual needs. From routine care to immediate relief and advanced nail surgery for a lasting solution, our skilled team customises treatments to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. We prioritise conservative options that avoid local anaesthesia whenever possible, exploring the most suitable approach for you. Trust us to alleviate your discomfort and restore your nail health with expert care and precision.
Podiatry Kinesiology We offer Podiatry Kinesiology Strapping as a highly effective technique to support and stabilise specific areas of the foot and lower leg. Our skilled podiatrists use specialised tape to manage various conditions and injuries, aiming to alleviate pain, improve performance, and facilitate the recovery process. Whether recommended as a standalone appointment or integrated into your traditional podiatry session or biomechanical treatment pathway, trust us to provide personalised care tailored to your needs.
Musculoskeletal/Biomechanical Assessment and Gait Analysis of the Foot and Leg Often, pain in the feet results from the foot not functioning correctly during gait (walking/running). Our aim is to prevent or correct deformity, maintain normal mobility, and improve posture. We provide the basis for the ideal walking style and posture, and identify any medical or surgical conditions that may require further referral and management.
For the assessment of foot pain, knee pain, back pain, and sports injuries, treatment may consist of shockwave therapy or dry needling. The podiatrist may also recommend a rehabilitation programme to build muscle and help heal any existing injuries. Treatment may also involve the prescription of insoles to correct foot function.
We offer a range of off-the-shelf and custom-made bespoke insoles to suit every budget. Orthoses and insoles can be used to treat a range of painful foot/leg conditions, including:
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Chronic Lateral Instability
- Achilles Tendonitis
